Tussivan-N syrup is used for Temporarily relief of cough caused by common cold, Flu, Or other conditions, Mild and chronic bronchial asthma, Hay fever, Allergy, Common cold, Watery eyes, Itchy throat/skin, Anaphylactic shock, Rhinitis, Urticaria and other conditions. Tussivan-N syrup may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Tussivan-N syrup contains Chlorpheniramine, Dextromethorphan, Ephedrine and Phenylephrine as active ingredients.

Tussivan-N syrup works by blocking H1-receptor sites on tissues; decreasing activity in the part of the brain that causes coughing; increasing cardiac output and inducing peripheral vasoconstriction; constricting the blood vessels results in decreasing the flow of blood thus relieves nasal congestion;

Hypertension
Hyperthyroidism
Lactation
Thyrotoxicosis
